Southport Yacht Club

ICM has been the consulting engineer for the Southport Yacht Club (SYC) since 1995.  One of the largest projects thus far was the replacement of the original old-style fixed concrete structure with the existing pontoon structure which provides berths for 291 vessels.  Construction [undertaken by The Jetty Specialists] was completed in 1999.  In 2000, the SYC marina was named 'Marina of the Year' at the Marine Industry Awards (see article below). 

ICM is currently overseeing a major extension to this marina, which will provide an additional 30 berths for vessels ranging up to 50m superyachts.  Construction is to be undertaken by Bellingham Marine Australia.
