Living Speed Bumps: RE:BEACH Oceanside Detailed Design
Selected through the City of Oceanside’s RE:BEACH competition, the Living Speed Bumps pilot is now being progressed through detailed design. The approach pairs compact headlands and an offshore reef with nourishment to retain sand longer while maintaining beach amenity and ecological value.

This project compiled and screened a wide range of coastal adaptation measures for Joondalup’s open-coast compartments, drawing on existing studies and global practice.
